These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Jobs Good ‘un (property maintenance/handyman services) and Kiwi Home Check (property assessment services). By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Services Provided

Jobs Good ‘un (Handyman Services)

We provide general property maintenance and small repair services. Work is carried out based on agreed scope, time, and pricing.

Kiwi Home Check (Assessment Service)

Kiwi Home Check is a non-invasive, visual assessment only. It is not a builder’s report, pre-purchase inspection, or specialist inspection.

3. No Guarantee or Warranty (Kiwi Home Check)

  • The assessment reflects visible conditions at the time of inspection only.

  • We do not guarantee that all issues, defects, or future problems will be identified.

  • This service should not be solely relied upon for property purchase decisions.

4. Independence of Services

Kiwi Home Check is provided independently of Jobs Good ‘un handyman services.
We do not include or bundle repair work with assessments, and there is no obligation to use Jobs Good ‘un for any follow-up work.

5. Quotes and Pricing

  • Quotes are estimates unless explicitly stated as fixed.

  • Additional work outside the agreed scope may incur extra charges.

  • All prices are in NZD unless stated otherwise.

6. Payments

  • Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed.

  • Late payments may incur additional fees.

  • We reserve the right to pause or decline future work for unpaid invoices.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes.

  • Late cancellations may incur a fee.

8. Access and Site Conditions

Clients must provide safe and reasonable access to the property.
We are not responsible for delays or incomplete work due to restricted access, unsafe conditions, or unforeseen site issues.

9. Liability Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

10. Health and Safety

We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if we believe conditions are unsafe or pose a risk.

11. Materials and Workmanship

Where materials are supplied, they will be fit for purpose to the best of our knowledge.
Workmanship issues must be reported within a reasonable timeframe.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will be available on our website.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
